David Pacifico is in touch with the stars every day — that is, Jeff Goldblum, Vincent D'Onofrio, Chris Noth and Kathryn Erbe.
He's the official caterer for the TV show "Law and Order: Criminal Intent."
Pacifico, 40, talked to the Times Herald-Record about his life of feeding celebrities:
My son, Anthony, is a student at John Borden Middle School in Wallkill. When the school had career day last month, I put out a spread of food for the kids that's not unlike what I create on the set of "Law and Order" — only it's bigger.
I feed the cast and crew breakfast and lunch; that's about 110 people, six days a week for nine months out of the year. Not everyone can do my job. It's fast-paced and demanding. I have to be wherever the set is.
The hours are long, sometimes 21 hours. When the crew works for that long, they get cranky. My job is to make them happy and keep their morale up. What better way to do that than with food? Full article
Thanks Linda!
