"The Narrows" and NaFF 2009

Special Jury Prize for Acting to Vincent D'Onofrio, "The Narrows", Nashville Film Festival 2009.

"The Narrows" will be in theaters June 19th. Release is limited.
You can check if the film is screening in a theatre near you at and type in your zip code.

Following the showing of the "The Narrows" on 6/19, the entire cast -- broadcasting from one location -- would appear on the movie screen live. At that time, anyone sitting in any of the audiences can text a question, and questions will run along bottom of screen. Cast members will then answer those questions. Thanks to Dena for this info.

We have confirmed this with the film's producer. We are told that is the plan & please stay tuned for more information coming soon!

Vincent is wonderful in this film. The prize is well deserved. Congratulations to Vincent and a "high five" to the special jury at NaFF. It's also great that "The Narrows" has been chosen as the flagship film to introduce this new technology into theaters. I predict great reviews for both. What an opportunity to communicate directly with Vincent to tell him how fabulous he is. When I saw the film at TIFF last September, we asked the director, Frascois Velle, to pass that message along to Vincent. If I lived in the USA I would certainly make every effort to be there on June 19th to see him live on screen (sigh!!!) and text the message to him personally.

I'm a little disheartened to know there won't be a screening that day here in Chicago, but I did hear that the film will be screened at the Chicago Film Festival in the fall. Fingers crossed!

I really hope that this film will be shown in Europe as well ! And that a DVD release will become for sale. He has a lot of fans in Europe as well !
Vincent is such a great artist in every sense of the word, it is too bad he does not get the credits he deserves.
