I'll bet my car that Vincent will win squat - again!
Lizzie
Well done, Lizzie! Now that you've said that, the gods may well smile on him just to thumb their noses at you. So he's finally in with a chance!
I know how you feel Lizzie but here's to hoping that the Academy makes some different choices. Vincent was extremely effective in his role last year with all the difficulties his character faced. I know it was a very personal story line but good all the same. I was very impressed. I'm always impressed with VDO and his acting, regardless of his amount of screen time with certain films.
Let's keep our fingers crossed ladies and gents that this time the academy will recognize what we all know for so many years now: THAT MAN'S GOT TALENT that has to be honored!
The gods may do what they like with me, as long as they let Vincent win something he should have won several of a LONG time ago (starting with HLOTS!)
Lizzie ;)
He won't win because he doesn't play the "Hollyweird" game. I applaud him for THAT!
Imho, I don't think he gives a rat's a** what any one thinks....except his fans and family. He does what he wants to and what he loves.
