CI takes #2 spot in USA's May ratings


Beats CW & Broadcast Competition

NEW YORK, NEW YORK June 2, 2009 May 2009 was USA's best May ever among P25-54 (1.32 million, +11% over May 2008), P18-49 (1.24 million, +3%), P18-34 (558,000), total viewers (2.86 million, +12% over May 2008,) and households (2.17 million, +14% over May 2008). This is the ninth straight "best ever" month for the network (starting in September 2008) in each of these measurements

USA continues to out-perform The CW during the broadcast season, delivering more P18-49 (+7%), P25-54 (+28%), and total viewers (+43%) in May.

...The top scripted originals in May were USA's IN PLAIN SIGHT and LAW & ORDER: CRIMINAL INTENT, ranking at #1 and #2, respectively, among P25-54 (IPS, 2.23 million / CI, 1.79 million), P18-49 (1.89 million / 1.49 million), total viewers (4.47 million / 3.76 million), and households (3.37 million / 2.83 million). Among P18-34, IN PLAIN SIGHT was the month's top scripted original with 653,000 of these viewers.

This is awesome for the show and cast..maybe they will get the raises they deserve finally and hopefully sign a contract for several seasons more!!! NBC is probably kicking themselves for giving up LOCI. Since most of what they have is crap.

NBC has lost their minds! They got rid of scrubs and ER. Put Jay on EVERY night and got rid of LOCI. What's wrong with those people? I hope Vince, Katie, Jeff and Eric win Emmys just to spite them!

So 'Boo-Yah' to all those howling about how 'boring' season 8 is and how it's sure to cancelled shortly!
I'm sure we all wish you well in finding something else to watch (and leaving the rest of us in peace to watch our favourite show)

well, when you look at it..

different call letters...same pocket book

nbc and usa are one in the same, one is cable and the other is regular tv,
either way its all one pie just cut into different pieces

but i am so very happy to hear that they are kickin but on the network!

season nine it in house

i wonder if vincent is home from detroit..?

This is great news. It would be better if it were the other way around-LOCI #1 and IPS #2. If they counted all the people who watch LOCI epis over and over it would be that way. I'm glad for both shows, however. I agree, may there be many more years of LOCI.
