From Rebecca, thanks! - to update this a little, sam bisbee just posted the event on facebook. looking at the picture...definitely seems that vincent is in costume there....Knowing that gelkie is not a real person...I'm absolutely convinced now that he is george gelkie. And I cant wait!

Vincent D'Onofrio presents the George Gerkie Cowboy Experience with special guest Sam Bisbee. Sam Bisbee will play a special opening set solo-acoustic accompanied by a string quartet, followed by a rare concert (he hasn't performed since 1989) by the legendary George Gerkie. Vincent D'Onofrio has worked tirelessly to bring Mr. Gerkie to New York for this rare concert appearance, and Vincent will introduce the evening. The all star band supporting Mr. Gerkie will be led by Joe McGinty featuring Laura Cantrell, Sam Bisbee, Jon Graboff, Steve Goulding, Dan Green and Julian Maile.

I have my tickets and I think Brie is going too. If they allow cameras, I'll do what I can do.
Omg..I'm going too..however I'm too shy to ask our guy for a picture..but I think my hubby will do it for me..I can't believe that is him..how crazy!! Bunny, is this thing sold out? Do u have dinner reservations?
And there's that wedding band again...hummmm.
I wish I lived in New York so I could see this....
Vincent sings???
Just say you are from The Reel site, Bunny. Then ask him when is he going to play Ted Kennedy in a film!!!!
It looks like it's going to be a hoot. I'm so jealous!
I'm going! If I don't die of anxiety. I'm gorenrocks on ff.net I can't wait!
janet- unfortunately, that won't help!
I don't think so, Janet. I have my own cred, thank you very much, no offense, Reel.
Brie, it's not sold out, and no, I don't have dinner reservations. I'm going for drinks and the show.
Vincent spoke before about an autobiographical type western that he was doing around the same time he did "Don't go into the woods". He's turning towards his music, it appears. I wish him nothing but success with that. Multi talented: no surprise here.
None taken Bunny. Hope you, Brie, and Liz have a great time!
