PIX11, NY --Actor Vincent D'Onofrio stopped by the studio today to talk about his role in the gripping new film Staten Island.
D'Onofrio stars alongside Ethan Hawke and Seymour Cassel in this New York tale about three men trying to make it big. When the three cross paths with a blue-collar worker named Sully Haverson (Hawke), things take a turn for the worse. The story catches fire when Haverson decides to crack the safe of Parmie Tarzo (D'Onofrio), a smalltime mob boss, in the hopes that he will be able to provide a better future for his child.
D'Onofrio is a native New Yorker who was born in Brooklyn. D'Onofrio both acts and directs, but he first attracted attention with his role as Private Leonard 'Gomer Pyle' Lawrence in the acclaimed Full Metal Jacket, and more recently as Detective Robert Goren in Law & Order: Criminal Intent.
Staten Island will be released in theaters nationwide this December. For more information, visit www.statenislandthemovie.com. Full article

So gorgeous, that must of been footage from Puntland they showed as I have not seen that scene before.
Thanks for the interview link. I went to the station's website, but couldn't find it.
I can't wait to see "Puntland." Goren looks great with the suit and overcoat on.,Good to again hear from him that he's at peace with ending his role on LOCI.
I have "Staten island " on my Netflix list for immediate shipping when it comes out!
Ladies, I saw Staten Island this weekend...the plus, we get to see Vince in this one-piece swimsuit..the minuses, the movie, except for his performance was not good, IMO...u know I love, love him..I went to George Gerkie, the opening of the Narrows..etc, tapings of CI, I would never say anything negative about his performances..I'm a huge fan..and again, his performance in SI was awesome, but the movie just didn't cut it..lemme know what u think if anyone has seen it. It opened in only 2 theaters and sadly there was only 10 people in the audience..including myself and my husband. Guess Irishman is next!
