Is anyone surprised by this vague and useless response? Has anyone wondered why they didn't shift CI back to NBC and keep Goren and Eames?? I have. With NBC's lackluster programming, CI would have surely been a ratings winner for them since CI has such a solid fanbase. I buy commercial airtime for a living and I am so trying to boycott NBC Uni..but its really hard since they have so many stations..
NBC and USA have both moved into an emphasis on Light Entertainment.None of the NBC dramas do well and the Law and Orders just look out of place now, like they are hanging on for grim death.
Its possible NBC has ordered four extra Law and Order episodes to close the series, however thats only rumour on TVbythenumbers site and that site seems to favour Wolfs franchise in the way it reports opinion; interesting
bedfellows.
Would the Law and Orders really want to be on a network that doesnt focus on quality drama? It prefers comedy/reality tv/chat shows/ sports. Thats where it gets its audience and advertising revenue.
