"The New Tenants" (2009) - Short film produced by Sam Bisbee. In post-production
A prying neighbor, a glassy-eyed drug dealer, and a husband brandishing both a weapon and a vendetta make up the welcome wagon. Set amidst the as-yet-unopened boxes and the hopes for a fresh start of two men on what might just be the worst moving day ever. Check it out, people. It seems that Mr Sam Bisbee (musician/composer of The George Gerkie(pronounced Jerkie) Experience) is slipping on his producer shoes, in an upcoming movie that is set to star our favorite teddy bear, VDO. Vin really does help his friends!!! Here's to hoping we actually get to see this at a movie theater and not straight to DVD.
Given that this film is categorized as a "short" film and the run time listed for this movie is just 20 minutes. I don't think this movie will be seen anywhere but at film festivals.
I hope I'm wrong!
Let's keep the faith,Bunny.
But actually we've been disappointed so often that (at least for me)it's hard to do.
But as long as we gotta see anything with VDO,I'm happy either on DVD,in TV or on the big screen!
I got happy until I saw the words 'Short film'. That would be the kind that doesn't make it into cinemas, like '5 Minutes Mr Welles'then? It's lovely to know Vincent is working, it would just be nice to know we'd get to SEE what he's doing. Oh well, maybe some kind-hearted soul will get it onto YouTube within the next few years.

We can but hope that these little projects will at least appear on YouTube, like "Welles" finally did. I'm still hoping to see "Don't Go Into The Woods."
OH. My powers of observation are going by the wayside. I didn't notice it was a short. What a bummer. OH WELL. I view shorts, so, still good for me! ;)
What ever happened to "Don't Go In The Woods"? I thought that really sounded good.
It was submitted to the Slamdance Film Festival for consideration. The film lineup has not yet been released. Slamdance festival takes place in January.
Good merciful heavens, I hope we get to see this! By any means possible! Let's all chant, pray, light candles - anything and everything! :)
Anything (well almost) for a friend. That's the kind of guy he is. I hope to get to see this film at one of the festivals. Hopefully Tribeca.
