Crew member Paul Dailey, left, runs through a dress rehearsal with actor Vincent D’Onofrio, familiar to TV viewers as the star of NBC’s “Law and Order: Criminal Intent,” in a scene for the independent film “Chlorine” shot last Friday evening inside Madison’s Chatham Bookseller on Green Village Road.

Although last Friday’s film shoot kept the Chatham Bookseller shop open well past its business hours, the owner didn’t mind as actor Vincent D’Onofrio, left, and proprietor Frank Deodene struck up a rapport. “I really liked D’Onofrio,” Deodene said

Mmmm.
I love bookshops.
From mob member to detective to academic? The ever changing VDO!
Great to see him. Thanks for sharing the pics.x
Thank You for this post! The pics are great... I love bookshops too! :o) He's so cute with glasses... "Sigh"
Well, of course the bookshop owner liked him - who wouldn't!
I've often wondered if he needed reading glasses. Now we know. I think I could choose him a better pair, though...
In fact, we don't really know because the casting call says his character wears outdated glasses...At least I suppose it's his character.
Thanks for the pics!
Those type of glasses do give the impression that he's a bookworm/nerdy type. No matter, Vincent looks great as always.
Thanks, Jess, I didn't know that. He just seemed to be squinting at the script without them, and when it said the specs picture was a read-through I jumped to conclusions.
I'd still like to choose him some glasses, though...
