Role in Chlorine

Synopsis - In 1985 New England, a man discovers that his wife has unwittingly put him in a local real estate deal that has him caught squarely into the savings and loan debacle.

Vincent's role - [ROGER LENT] Cynthia and Henry's father, he's a complacent, somewhat depressed, boyish-looking 44-year-old banker who's been failing to earn a promotion at the Savings and Loan for several years, much to his wife Georgie's disdain and rage. According to his boss Ted, Roger doesn't have any fire in his belly. In his younger years, Roger was known as a jock stud, but now he sports a paunch and wears outdated glasses. Under pressure from Georgie to invest in Cooper Canyon Estates, Roger makes some unethical maneuvers with a new client's cash. Though he regrets his behavior, he's able to leverage the information he gleans about Ted's corrupt real estate investment to secure a better position at the bank and stand up to his boss. His new found confidence helps repair his marriage.

Director Jay Alaimo (Slingshot, Scrubs) was to begin filming 'Chlorine' in 2006 with Ray Liotta, Selma Blair, Justin Theroux, Julianna Margulies, Demi Moore, and David Arquette - in Shreveport, Louisiana but production was suspended.

Thanks Sam!

Is there information for the rest of the cast?

Will Kyra Sedgwick be playing "Georgie"??

Ray Liotta. Don't see that, glad they suspended that one.

Sam tells us that he believes Kyra Sedgwick is Georgie.

D'Onofrio and Sedgwick! That has to be one dynamite duo!

Reminds me of his character role in Thumbsucker, how we are suppressed by choices that make us ordinary, and how that can be extraordinary in itself.I hope he delivers the same compassion to this role as he did to Thumbsucker.
But he still looks more like an academic than a banker in these photos!

Bankers and cowboys; the origins of America.

I see today that Forest Whitaker is to take a profiling role in the new Criminal Minds spinoff. He is another actor who brings deep compassion to his roles and could be the heir to Goren rather than Nichols!Worth watching him anyway.

It appears that Sedgwick as 'Georgie' has been confirmed.

Forest Whitaker -- wow! -- another phenomenal actor. He would be a good reason to draw me back to LOCI w/o D'Onofrio and Erbe.

Remember Forest Whitaker in "The Crying Game"? Powerful work.
Its a great coup for Criminal Minds spin off,and i doubt that will be "blue skies" for easy watching,if the original is anything to go by!
