Vincent D'Onofrio to attend Stanley Kubrick Film Festival

*The Stanley Kubrick Film Festivalat Florida State University, March 19-26, 2010 - with Special Guests: Jan Harlan and Vincent D'Onofrio.

Actor Vincent D'Onofrio and executive producer Jan Harlan will discuss the process of working with Kubrick during the filming of Full Metal Jacket, brilliant and darkly humorous movie about the insanity of war.

March 26 (Friday) 7:00 pm
Free for FSU Students with ID (no tickets required) - $10 for non-FSU student tickets. Tickets available March 15. Visit the Fine Arts Ticket Office for purchase.

My live-action vote, if I belonged to the Academy, would go to "The New Tenants." It's a dark, Pinteresque piece about a jaded gay couple who move into a new apartment where a lot of bad stuff has happened. Visitors from the past — including an angry husband played by Vincent D'Onofrio — keep dropping by to stir up trouble.

D'Onofrio, by the way, is coming to Florida State in March to take part in the Stanley Kubrick Film Festival* at FSU's Student Life Cinema.
