Final episode on Law & Order: Criminal Intent

From TVGuide | 3.9.10
By MICKEY O'CONNOR AND ADAM BRYANT

Any scoop on Goren and Eames' last episode of Law & Order: Criminal Intent? — Joanna

MICKEY: Yep, I've seen it! Believe it or not, the two-part sendoff is about arms dealers and Somalian pirates. I can confirm that by the end, three cast members — Vincent D'Onofrio, Kathryn Erbe and Eric Bogosian — take their final bow. But not before there is one death, one firing and one promotion. Beware: It may not be a happy ending for anyone.

Thanks Judy!

Question: Any tidbits about the season opener of Law & Order: Criminal Intent? The 30-second spots now showing on USA tell us nothing! —Maureen
Ausiello: As previously reported, the two-part premiere — airing March 30 and April 6 — bids adieu to Vincent D’Onofrio, Kathryn Erbe, and Eric Bogosian. How do they depart? All I’ll say is the second episode features a funeral, a firing, and a resignation. Suck it, 30-second spots!

I'm getting all upset again. Got that icky feeling in my stomach that Bobby is not going to end up very good when it is over. I guess there are so many ways for it to end.. Of course any of the ways it means no more Goren and Eames I don't think I'm gonna have a very good day today.

Lets make bets !

Im going easy with :
Death : bogosian
promotion : Eames
being fired : Bobby

a story has to have integrity - meaning that you can't screw over the people who have invested in the story - Bobby will be ok.

how long after the episode airs before it'll show up on itunes?? anybody know??

From that information, there are just WAY too many options:
Promotion - Eames or Ross.Bobby was suspended, so my guess is that would count him out of that one.
Fired - Any one of them
Dead - ALSO any one of them. Vincent is far too fond of ending up dead, despite him hinting that Goren 'might' be back. I may have to watch with my hands over my eyes

Lizzie :(

I think Bobby will kill Ross and he will go to prison, Eames get promoted to captain, the other 2 local yocals will pretend to be detectives, and I will never again watch another episode from that point on. I have taped every episode of Bobby and have seasons 1-4 on DVD. That all I need.

The TV guide says 'someone is promoted'. Might that be the woman who's taking over as captain of Major Case?

May not be a happy ending for anyone? You could say that.

Given that Kathryn Erbe was upset with the ending, and that they spoke about Goren reappearing at some stage, I'd say she gets fired, he gets promoted.

But the main thing is, the end is nie, and I for one am gutted.

I read Ausiello's comment (from imbd website):
"Question: Any tidbits about the season opener of Law & Order: Criminal Intent? The 30-second spots now showing on USA tell us nothing! —Maureen

A resignation, not a promotion.
And no one says that once you're fired you can be rehired and admitted to that it was a mistake (maybe why Goren is working from home).

It s all too sad whatever the outcome:'( however I remember Eames saying that promotion wasn't ever something she wanted to have, and judging from the badge we saw in the teaser it was her resigning so I go for Goren being promoted despite some of the cops not being his fan, the man is a great detective and I think he will be made Senior partner or Captain of another department or area but available at anytime to return ( Vincent and DW left his character open to return) he is also a criminal profiler and the NYPD need people like him on the force, so that leaves Ross being murdered since he is of higher rank and politically given the plotline he is the best target for a sniper or other death scenario. I hope it some puts them on megaupload.

My stomach is in knots wondering about the premiere. It's probaly going to be like Pauline said, but the problem is, we have new writers and show runners. With the stakes so high, I really don't want this to be run by strangers to the LOCI universe. But I guess it can't be helped, can it?

Part of me does not want to know at all.

And Wheeler's new partner? Erm... says how credible that little video is... besides they said nothing Ausiello or other sources haven't been saying.
