FSU Videos - 5, 6, 7 and 8

FSU 5 by BriarRose920
I did these out of order, sorry everyone! This should have been first, he was introducing 5 Minutes Mr. Welles which was the first movie of the evening. Excellent short film, in my personal opinion, this one deserved the Oscar!

FSU 6 by BriarRose920
Vincent discusses why he made 5 Minutes Mr. Welles.

FSU 7 by BriarRose920
Vincent was asked what drives him to be creative.

FSU 8 by BriarRose920
Vincent was asked, as a filmmaker what are his favorite films. His answer was cute.

Thank you to Tricia972 who filmed the event, and to Hannah and Heather for sharing them with us!

Thank you so much for making these and sharing them with us! He is so comfortable, relaxed, happy. After hearing his bit on LOCI, I am beginning to be happy he's leaving (although I wish we had had a last season). They were making him so miserable! The pity is that they have made so much money off of him and it makes what they have paid him peanuts. Gives credence to the money thing being an issue. I think they are about to find out what a really valuable person he really was to them!

I love his discussions about his films, his process, etc. It was a great conversation! I will be really looking forward to his film project. I think it's terrific his daughter will star in it. You couldn't have a better person to learn about acting from than VDO. In addition, my son has Asperger's so I am very interested in how this is portrayed.

These are so wonderful! thank you so much for thinking of us and recording these. It is so nice to see VDO so relaxed, comfortable, happy. He's been let out of his cage and I see a period of real creativity bursting out! The questions were good and I liked the conversational style. It seemed like a very intimate event. I'm glad you liked his films. I liked he reference to The Rocky Horror Picture Show -- I loved that movie -- went on many occasions with the Toast & the umbrella, etc.

His next project looks very interesting. I am glad he is using it to showcase his daughter. I will be interested to see if she has the same talent as her Dad. She is lucky to have her first project with him.

I am glad to see that VDO will have a productive future ahead of him. I don't want to disappear along with Goren.

How cute are these??? I loved him being well, him!!!

What filmaker did he say he liked? Anton ???? I couldn't make it out. It's the video that is 1:16, where he is takling about the kind of films he likes.

Brie, the director he mentioned was Italian director Michaelangelo Antonioni. He directed a few movies in English in the 1960s and 70s, probably the best known is Blowup.

Thanks Judy. I've never heard of that director. Maybe I will have to check him out.
