Kathryn Erbe is used to dealing with bad guys on "Law & Order: Criminal Intent" -- but now she's reportedly dealing with one in her own life.An alleged stalker was arrested last week in Philadelphia on a warrant from the NYPD. Erbe has been getting letters and e-mails for years, according to the NY Post, but things became more serious recently when the letters started arriving at the homes of her relatives.
Erbe, a divorced mother of two, met with NYPD detectives, the Brooklyn district attorney's rackets bureau and the NYPD's Computer Crime squad.
The man who was arrested, Charles Nagel, is being held pending an extradition hearing.

The female star of TV's "Law & Order: Criminal Intent" has found herself in the middle of a real-life crime drama, The Post has learned.
Kathryn Erbe -- the honey-blonde actress who plays an NYPD Major Case detective hell-bent on getting into the minds of criminals -- has been the victim of an obsessed fan who followed her and poured out his unbridled love for her in letters and e-mails, law-enforcement sources said.
Starstruck fan Charles Nagel, a self-described entertainer and songwriter from Philadelphia who goes by the stage name Chaz Rose, has sent love letters for the past three years to Erbe's Brooklyn home and frequently turned up on the set of the popular cop show both in the Big Apple and California, the sources said.

I can't believe this creep also got up close 'n' personal with Vincent as well, armed with a small rain forest of pictures for him to sign, which struck me even then as the height of rudeness!
Oh dear, poor Kathryn. But great that they got the guy after all the trouble.

OMG, its no wonder Vincent ( because he had one years ago) and Kathryn don't have real accounts with places like facebook or myspace with people like this hanging around. I am glad they got him.
It is one thing to be a fan with good intentions, but stalking. There is a line that none of us ever want to cross. Gook luck Kate so sorry you had to experience that type of behavior
When I read the first part of that post this morning (then I had to leave home for a little while) I wondered to myself if this wasn't that guy named Chas Roze who professed to have an "in" with the two of them..I remember a post he had here once. Anyway, I'm so glad they got him put away. Poor Kate. Some wierd people out there.

im so sorry that kathryn had to go through this its one thing to be a fan but to stalk thats quite another a big no no i was at one time one of chaz's friends on myspace untill him and his dogs found the need to delete me just becuase i made a special fanpage of kathryn erbe for him because he seemed to be just a big fan of her him and the does i just mentioned by the names of katleen donna and fay were also accusing me of being other people big lie there and on top of that they were causing all sorts of trouble at myspace including posting untrue comments and lies about other myspace users so i to am glad they got him he deserves some jail time i am also glad they did away with that myspace of his but of course that nut will create another
The worse for him is that he wont even be able to see the premiere tonight haha
I always thought the guy was a little "aggressive" as a fan, but to know he was an actual stalker just gives me the creeps!
