I just watched it win! And I was so happy they showed a brief shot of Vincent - his face. YAY! I am just so happy! I downloaded the film from Itunes, the day you informed us here, that it was available - a big THANK YOU! And after I watched it, I had a really GOOD FEELING that it would win, because it is just so great! It's an excellent film! Congratulations to Vincent, and to everyone involved with "The New Tenants" (I have to confess - I am extremely and unabashedly partial to VDO. :)

Great news for them....and for The Hurt Locker.
Sometimes the Oscars do get it right and award artistic accomplishments over sensational entertainment/audience numbers and revenue. They have taken that risk two years running now...
Hope and happiness.

My congratulations to everyone involved with the film. Just because I wasn't crazy about the film doesn't mean I wasn't hoping they would win. Hey, our guy's picture was front center stage...Made me smile. Caught a glimpse of Sam and Erika, how exciting for them . Again, Congratulations.. Now I'm going to watch for the nominated movies to come out on DVD so I can watch them...Don't go to many movies.

I really enjoyed the film, and I'm so proud of all those involved for winning. At last, Vincent, a tiny bit of recognition.

How nice that Kathryn was invited to the Oscars!

Happy for everyone involved with "The New Tenants." However, I thought it was rude of the audio people to shut down the microphone when the second guy (sorry, forget who that was) tried to give his acceptance speech. I guess the lesser categories only get a very short time.

@Judith, what sort of operating system are you using, and how old is the computer? You may need to download some codecs to be able to play the embedded video. Something like adobe flash or java, along those lines. It's hard to help on our end without knowing what you're working with there.

Thankyou gyang333. I have adobe flash (I think) and java (I think). My system is windows 2000 and things have always worked before. It just seems to be the odd thing on the 'reel' I have problems with.x
