So..."Down And Dirty Pictures" is slated for a release in 2010? I was under the impression that it hadn't yet started filming? Anyone know for sure?

According to IMDB under Vincent's entry, it's listed as "filming".

While I would simply love for Vincent to get the recognition from the industry, I cringe when I hear this Oscar buzz talk - puts too much pressure on the film and the actors.

I'm sure Vincent could care less about "the buzz" and will not let it affect his work. But everyone else? Hmmmmmm. I just hope the film is a critical and popular success!

We have been told that the film is currently still in pre-production and that filming is scheduled to begin in Sept/Oct 2010.

How do they know it's Oscar worthy???? That's just some hopeful fan girl writing that, IMHO. But I hope it is a good film, Vincent enjoys making it and it garners some respect in the film world.
