New Film: Crackers

A short film directed by Gregory Principato
Shooting begins September 13 in NJ and Staten Island

Stars Vincent D'Onofrio and Sal Richards

Storyline: Crackers is a dark comedy about an Italian chef named Gus whose life is turned upside down after a mishap during a Sunday dinner when Jack, his father-in-law chokes to death on an ossobuco bone. Gus is happy living in his small paradise surrounded by his younger wife, his vibrant garden, his kitchen and his opera music. This all changes when his overbearing, loud, large and obnoxious mother-in-law Bidelia invades his home. Gus slowly loses his paradise and his sanity as Bidelia methodically destroys everything that is sacred to him.

Ah, so he's just going to go insane instead of die :0(

Insanity is better than death. Errr, at least in VDO flicks. I think.

Vincent does crazy really, really well. Can't wait until this is out.

This project looks really interesting. I can't wait for more information.

I agree...nobody plays crazy like VDO. I'm looking forward to this one and, if Brenda Vaccaro plays the mother-in-law who drives him insane...that should be an interesting ride. Can't wait.

One hopes that he will be okay in the end and tell Bidelia to get lost LMHO.
