Back in 'Order'

NYPost, 3.9.11
by Michael Starr

Vincent D'Onofrio is back on the beat at "Law & Order: Criminal Intent" -- and The Post has this exclusive photo of his return for the show's upcoming 10th and final season.

Both D'Onofrio and Kathryn Erbe are back on "CI" for eight new episodes beginning May 1 after both took breaks from the USA series.

Erbe, who played Det. Alexandra Eames for eight seasons, did not return for Season 9.

D'Onofrio is reprising his role as Det. Robert Goren after leaving two episodes into Season 9.

He was replaced for the rest of the season by Jeff Goldblum, who played Det. Zach Nichols.

The "CI" re-boot goes hand-in-hand with news that NBC's freshman series "Law & Order: Los Angeles" will return April 11 after going on hiatus in January.

"LOLA," which got off to a slow start last fall, has also been re-tooled, with stars Skeet Ulrich, Megan Boone and Regina Hall leaving the show and Alana de la Garza, who starred on "Law & Order" as assistant DA Connie Rubirosa, joining "LOLA" in the same role.

In addition, Alfred Molina, who began the season as Deputy DA Ricardo Morales, will now shift back to detective work (Morales was a detective before joining the DA's office).

I see they got it wrong with Kathryn, she stayed the same amount of time as Vincent. Great shot of Vincent with the resin body.

Clearly written by someone who has never watched the show.

Love the picture; it's very Goren-esque!

And yeah, would've been nice if the author actually knew something about the show. :)

But yay for CI getting some press!!!
