Casting Call - Law & Order: CI - Episode 10.6 - "THE LAST STREET IN MANHATTAN"

SEASON 10 – EPISODE 10.6 – "THE LAST STREET IN MANHATTAN"

[VANESSA CONTI] Female, 30-35, working class, beautiful girl-next-door. A kind, modest neighborhood girl, born and bred in Inwood, she works as a schoolteacher in the day and in her father’s bar at night. By chance, she meets and falls in love with a wealthy man in a coffee shop. Though they are truly in love, the relationship meets a bad end, and she eventually emerges as a murder suspect.

[TOM CONTI] Male, 55-60, working class. Owner of a bar in Inwood, his gambling addiction puts him deeply in debt to violent criminals.

[NICOLE HELTON] Female, late 30s, beautiful, stylish and a little bit crazy -- a hint of insanity, any ethnicity. A producer of big budget films, she registers with a high-end matchmaker to be paired with wealthy millionaires. Her match ends particularly badly when she gets pregnant, is immediately dumped, and then miscarries – leading her to fixate on the man who has wronged her.

[STEPHANIE MILLER] Female, 38-50, urbane, stylish, any ethnicity. A high-end matchmaker who markets her service to male millionaires.

[ERIC DRISCOLL] Male, 40s, tough. A violent loan shark.

[ANDREA] Female, early 30s, a model gorgeous intellectual, any ethnicity. A highly educated professor of French Literature and a drop-dead gorgeous knock-out, she registers with a high-end matchmaker to be paired with wealthy millionaires.

[TIM SKINNER] Male, late 30s, handsome & athletic. A competitive, master of the universe Wall Street finance guy. He receives a big promotion when his boss is murdered – causing him to eventually fall under suspicion of having committed the crime.

[DAVID KANE] Male, 40s. A regular guy from a lower middle class background, he has earned vast wealth on Wall Street – wealth which constantly tempts him to give in to his worst, most selfish impulses. Though he is cutthroat and ruthless in the business world, he struggles to be a good guy in his personal life and to not allow his aggressive business persona to poison his relationships. He is unable to find love, which eventually leads him to enlist the services of a high end matchmaker.

[NANCY ELLER] Female, 40s, any ethnicity. Secretary to a high-end financial executive on Wall Street.

[MAITRE'D] Male, early 30s, any ethnicity. Maitre'd at an upscale restaurant.


[BARTENDER] Male, 40s, Irish.

At first I thought it was saying Tom Conti was playing the character, not that they'd used his name FOR the character!

Geez, they should hire Tom Conti to play Tom Conti (and maybe Nicki Hilton to play Nicole Helton).
