The Onion

With a track called Being Vincent D’Onofrio and another labelled Law & Order, do the ‘Oars have a Twilight-like obsession with Detective Goren on The Quickening?

“He’s just a classic human,” Sesta says of D’Onofrio. “You drop his name and people are like, ‘Who is this guy?’ and then they learn who he is, ‘Wow, he’s a really talented chap. He’s been on Law & Order: Criminal Intent for the last nine years’. He’s just the natured human you inspire to be.”

“He embodies just fucking classicness all round, he’s the physical representation of dope mad shit,” Trials adds. “Being Vincent D’Onofrio is our homage to him.”

“It would be stupid not to call a track that,” Sesta continues.

“That title was around before the song,” Trials reveals.

“Wasn’t the album called Being Vincent D’Onofrio at one stage?” Reflux queries.

“We’re very lucky the album is not called Being Vincent D’Onofrio,” Sesta says.

Well, not my cup of musical tea, but the few words I could catch were pretty apt (especially size 13s...)

I just listened to this on YouTube! Dope track! Sounds really old school, unlike the terrible new rap nowadays.

I'm getting old, 'cause the only thing I could make out that sounded remotely 'Vincenty' was the bit about the size 13s ;0)
