"Escape Plan" release date changed to October 18, 2013

Lionsgate announced today that Summit Entertainment's Escape Plan (aka The Tomb) is moving to the crowded weekend of October 18, 2013 from its previous release date of September 13. The other releases scheduled for that date are Carrie, Don Jon and Seventh Son.
Original Poster
Directed by Mikael Håfström, Escape Plan stars Sylvester Stallone, Arnold Schwarzenegger, Jim Caviezel, Curtis "50 Cent" Jackson, Vinnie Jones, Vincent D'Onofrio and Amy Ryan. In the film, Ray Breslin (Stallone), the world's foremost authority on structural security, agrees to take on one last job: breaking out of an ultra-secret, high-tech facility called 'The Tomb.' But when he is wrongly imprisoned, he must recruit fellow inmate Emil Rottmayer (Schwarzenegger) to help devise a daring, nearly impossible plan to escape from the most protected and fortified prison ever built.

Lionsgate has also set an August 15, 2014 release date for The Expendables 3, which will again star Stallone and has Jackie Chan, Wesley Snipes, Nicolas Cage and Milla Jovovich in advanced negotiations to join him. The third installment has the date to itself for now.

I like to see Vincent in more "bankable" films, because more people will see how great he is. I still like "The Tomb" better as the title.

I like it better too. Escape Plan sounds too 'Bruce Willis' to me.
