Video: Trailer for "Mall" (A Day to Kill)

"Linkin Park" member, and the band's resident music video director Joe Hahn makes his feature film debut with the indie ensemble crime drama "Mall: A Day to Kill," starring Vincent D'Onofrio, Gina Gershon, Peter Stormare, Mimi Rogers, James Frecheville and Cameron Monaghan.

Featuring music from members of "Linkin Park," the film -- based on playwright/actor Eric Bogosian's 2001 dark, satirical novel about five unrelated suburbanites whose paths intersect at a shopping mall on the night a drug-crazed maniac goes on a shooting spree -- is getting a DVD/Blu-ray release this month in France (June 18th), next month in Sweden (July 20th) and possibly other European markets in the summer.

There's no word if or when the movie will reach the States as an official US release date has not been announced. In the meantime, however, you can have a peek at the film's first promo trailer, which recently landed online.

Malcom's done with his life. Only the noise of Crystal Meth gives him a reason to keep going - everything else it has long regardless. Equipped with a bag full of weapons and self-made bombs, he makes his way to the nearby mall to really stir things up. On his personal war campaign, he not only changes his life radically, but also the fate of other people who are in the wrong place at the same time: a teenager whose favorite pastime is smoking pot in his dreary existence, a housewife, where their best days have been left behind, a greedy businessman whose only desire is to increase his wealth and a depressed pervert.
