Best Twitter battle of the week: Vincent D'Onofrio vs. the trolls

Take that, trolls
Turns out actor Vincent D’Onofrio (“Daredevil,” “Law & Order: Criminal Intent”) treats his Twitter account the same way he treats acting: bat-poop crazy! There are plenty of ways to waste your time on Twitter, but none was more enjoyable than watching the Hollywood actor go full-political-wackadoodle last week. It started when the self-described bleeding-heart liberal trolled the trolls with this tweet on Monday:

“4 all u trolls.Dont agree w/my Politics.Think I’m a celeb&dont have the right 2speak.Look at this picture do u really want 2get in2 it w/me.”

He attached a pic of himself smiling with a tiny sombrero perched atop his head.
From there, he spent the rest of the week retweeting fans who retweeted his tweet. And also responded to dissenters with hilarious verve. Example: A tweeter told D’Onofrio his opinions are not above other people’s.

The actor’s response:“Above others? Who said I was above others? Although I am 6’4” I might be above you unless you 6’5” or more. Then you would be above me.”
You win Twitter for the week, Vincent.
